The police were trying to hide and silence the incredible support for the Filton 6 on trial on Thursday 23rd April by putting on a Section 14 order banning supporters from gathering within a mile of Woolwich Crown Court except on a narrow verge on the far side of the dual carriageway from the court.
Trudi Warner has just been arrested for peacefully holding a sign outside the court, because of the Section 14.
This is an insanely repressive use of the police’s new powers to crush protest.
