Filton 6 Retrial: Lottie Takes the Stand 21st April

Lottie Head was the first defendant to give evidence on Tuesday 21 April.

Lottie (30) told the jury how she spent 3 years in the Calais Jungle helping refugees & documenting human rights abuses. She then worked for a domestic abuse charity and joined a pro-Palestine encampment in Hackney.

She’s given her whole adult life so far to helping victims of violence and oppression.

Then she talked about why she took direct action – because it works. She said direct action has closed down four Israeli Elbit Systems sites in the UK.

Photos of the drones are in the jury bundle.

She told the jury about the quadcopter drones they found & dismantled inside the Elbit hub in Filton. And the red paint she sprayed around the factory represents the blood of the Palestinian people.
